The St. Louis Conflagration.

We extract the following further particulars of the late disastrous fire at St. Louis from the California Express of Monday. The total losses are estimated at $115,700:
  Through the prompt attentions of the enterprising Express firm of F. D. Everts & Co., we were placed in possession of the particulars at 9 o'clock, A. M., yesterday, the messenger having left the scene of conflagration at nine, the previous evening, thus making the distance (60 miles) in twelve hours, with one animal, over a mountain road, and in a night when darkness was almost visible.
  The fire originated in the kitchen of a French restaurant, at 11 o'clock, A. M.
  A meeting of citizens had been called, find measures taken today out a new town, and the enterprising sufferers were already at work erecting new buildings.
  The entire loss is estimated at 115,700, particulars of which will be found below:
