The Fox police force is organized into two groups,
the smaller of the two, under Captain H. Myers, guarding
the Western Avenue lot. The larger group at Movietone
City is captained by John L. Muehlhausen, a colorful
figure who served for five years as sheriff of the
Cripple Creek district in Colorado, when it was one of
the most unruly portions of the entire West.
Muelhausen (sic) has arrested many noted desperadoes and
has never had to use his guns on any of them.
