VERNON'S DINNER
________

He Entertains a Party of Friends at
the Newport

Mr. C. A. Vernon, who is never so happy as when catering to the pleasures of his friends last night gave a dinner at the Newport to a party of ladies and gentlemen.  After a most splendid repast, followed by storytelling, the party repaired to Armory hall, the remainder of the evening being passed in dancing.  Mr. Vernon is well known as the representative of the Union Brewing company of Denver.  He has just closed a contract with the W. J. Lemp Brewing company, of St. Louis, for the handling of their goods in the Cripple Creek district.  It is safe to say he will meet with deserved success.
