A Runaway.
Shortly before noon yesterday a horse attached to a
brake owned by Major Hills, of the Tahiti Lemonade
Works, ran away from the stand on Hotel street on to
Fort street. In turning the corner of King street
the animal collided with a saddle horse hitched near
Hall's store, without doing any damage. For a
moment it looked as if it would stop, but it went along
King street at a furious rate, and was last seen of
runaway was turning the corner near the front gates of
the Palace. It evidently went out to its home at
Sunny Side.
