MR. HADDOCK. This gentleman has not applied his
mechanical studies merely to the completion of his
Androides (sic). He has made several improvements
in the manufacture of paper, and has presented for
public inspection to the Dublin Society of Arts and
Sciences, a model of a machine to facilitate the
manufacture of that article, and also deposited in the
same establishment specimens of paper made from hay,
straw, potatoe (sic) stalks, and other vegetable
substances, that were never known to possess that
property. And since his arrival in the U. States,
he has invented an apparatus for the manufacture of
artificial mineral waters of every description, (which
he attested before the Mayor of New York.) We
understand that he means to fix his residence in Boston;
and on that account, it is expected he will close his
exhibition of Androides (sic) next week. We would
therefore advise those who have not seen this innocent
and rational entertainment, not tp let it pass off
without beholding what they will never have an
oportunity (sic) of enjoying again.
