NOTICE--To all whom it may concern.--Be it known that I, Andrew J. Hartel, of the city of Rochester, N. Y., am engaged in the manufacture, bottling and selling of mineral or aerated waters, ginger ale, lager beer, and other similar beverages, in bottles, boxes and syphons having my name and marks blown, stamped or otherwise produced upon my bottles, boxes and syphons respectively, namely, glass bottles marked; T. E. Caldwell, Rochester, N. Y.  One style of glass bottles having blown in the glass lengthwise upon said bottles are the words "Union Bottling Works, Rochester." and upon the bottom of said bottles are the letters "U. B. W."
  Other glass bottles having blown or produced in glass upon the side a circle and within said circle are the letters and words, "A. J. Hartel, Rochester, N. Y."
  Wooden boxes marked, "Union Bottling Works, Rochester, N. Y."
  Glass bottles marked Klein & Hofheinz, Rochester, N. Y.
My principal place of business is situated in the city od Rochester, county of Monroe, and state of New York.
  This notice and description are made, filed and published in pursuance of chapter 377 of the laws of the state of New York, for the year of 1887, as amended by chapter 181, laws of 1888, providing therefor and to forbid all persons to use, traffic or destroy anu of said bottles, boxes, siphons contrary to the laws of said state made to protect the owners of bottles, boxes, syphons, etc., used in the manufacture, bottling and sale of the above mentioned, waters and drinks and other similar beverages.
