Several Appeals Will Be Taken, Number of Oldest Establishments Lose Out

Special to The Inquirer.
    WEST CHESTER, Pa., March 24.--The closing of the long contest on the part of the enemies of licensed hotels was reached today, when Judge William Butler, Jr., disposed of all the cases by handing down a decision which gives licenses to thirty-four hotels and two bottling establishments.  There were sixty-two applications.
  The decision cuts out all licenses at Coatesville, three at Phoenixville and three at West Chester.  Judge Butler filed his opinion at the opening of the court.  This disposes of all applications for licenses, although it is possible there may be a few appeals.
