Orphans at the Exposition.

One of the most pleasing incidents connected with this exhibition was the visit, yesterday morning, of St. Mary's orphans, (seventy-odd in number,) accompanied by their Sister guardians, Mr. P. Olwill, the President of St. Mary's Orphan Association, Messrs. M. McKeon, Thos. Murphy, etc.  They came at the invitation of the Board of Managers of the Exposition, who paid every attention to the orphans and their attendants, each vieing (sic) with the other in his efforts to make the visit agreeable and instructive.  Returning about half-past twelve, Mr. Olwell led them to the Mineral Water establishment of McCormack & Ottenville, where they were welcomed by Malachi, and soon emptied eight dozen bottles of his wholesome beverage.  Mr. E. E. Jones, the Secretary, desires us to return thanks to the Managers of the South Nashville Street Railroad, and to McCormack & Ottenville, for their exceeding kindness, for which the Sisters, the Orphans, and the members of the Association, will ever feel grateful.
