Updated the Early Soda and Mineral Water article with addition of a picture of the McManus bottle and a change of attribution from Philadelphia to Franklin, New Jersey.

Added 2 new sub-categories; "Brewery" to search for bottles used by brewers and "Test Bottles" for bottles that were used to test bottle closures, which generally have a hole drilled in the base.  Added 1 new collector's shelf for colored Hutchinson bottle.

Added 3 new  glass manufacturers; Lancaster Co-Operative Glass Works Limited, of Lancaster, NY, Codd & Rylands, Barnsley, England, and the Brooke Glass Company of Wellsboro, WV. Added 1 new closure; a beer bottle closure patented by Frederick Siemens of Dresden, Germany on November 27, 1891.

Added 4 new  glass manufacturers; the Alexandria Glass Works, Inc. of Alexandria, VA, the Newburg Glass Company of New Windsor, New York, the Binghamton Glass Works, Binghamton, NY, and the Adolphus Busch Glass Company of Saint Louis MO and Belleville, IL.  Update the Adolphus Busch Glass Manufacturing Company's history and added notes. Updated the Early Soda and Mineral Water article with additional information on Finley & Phin, including a picture of the bottle.

Over 20,500 bottles are now listed with the addition of over 825 new bottles.  20,000 bottles is a major milestone.  Are we halfway there?  Who knows.  A number of Northern New Jersey bottles, many with pictures, were added.  This includes the addition of bottles from over 30 towns that were not previously represented. Added over 475 new or improved photos.

Added a new section to the site for in depth articles on soda and beer bottles.  The articles are listed under the soda and beer histories.  The first article is on the earliest artificial soda and mineral water bottles manufactured before 1845.  Other articles will follow periodically.  New articles will be listed on the home page under a new link called "Featured Article".

Added 1 new base type for soft drink bottles for the bar or solid pontiled base.

Added 5 new  glass manufacturers; Owens-Illinois Glass, Pennsylvania Glass Company, a T. C. Company, Dobson & Nail, Limited, and the Indianapolis Glass Works Company. Added 3 new potteries; Haxstun & Company of Fort Edward, NY, N. A. White & Son of Utica, NY, and Robinson Clay Products Company of Akron, OH.  Added 1 new jobber; The Liquid Carbonic Company of Chicago, IL.  Based on geospatial analysis, I changed the Middleton Glass Works to the Massillon Glass Works.

Cleaned up the drop down boxes for bottle closures and moved the 2010 what's new to an archive page.  Added a new rare bottle to the Wheeling Virginia's Collector Shelf and added 1 new collector's shelf for the earliest pontiled soda and mineral water bottles.   Updated the counts for manufactures, closures, and shapes.  Improved the firms search page with some JavaScript functions.
